VALORANT Forums

I wrote about 1 earlier but I updated my idea and cannot bump my thread its lost so I start a new thread.

my anticheat idea
https://youtu.be/57YMZYGn3UQ

the first step to the disconnection is using a widget to create a button that tracks mouse movement once the mouse is locked.

again the widget being held on the same hdd is vulnerable though. its accessible to tampering itself. so the widget would have to held outside of the hdd maybe on the game server and uploaded to the player pc randomly and the test for mouse movement when the anticheat prevents mouse movement triggers the hackers lack of anticheat means his mouse still moves.

this might take some trial and error to find a cheater and then test what hes turned off because they keep the anticheat running its just not functional.

    Lol wtf?

The cheats are injected into the memory addresses of the game, in the RAM, not in the hard disk lol.
That is why Vanguard works at the kernel level in ring 0, to control absolutely the entire system including RAM.

You can't make a better AC at the moment. The only thing that could be "improved" is to increase the number of human beings who review the reports to ban cheaters as soon as possible.

Not only that, but Valorant's file are encrypted....Granted, It's not a strong encryption because I already crack it and grab a few models to do some rendering.

y844kst Sorry to say but it doesn't work fine, maybe ingame to keep cheaters away(tho I have encountered a few but ohwell) it does but outside it can really mess with your pc as is the case for a few people including me. After the latest patch/update for example, it made my pc freeze randomly even when I wasn't playing Valorant, hell sometimes it didn't even let me log in to the pc itself after booting.

Alright. Can you restart your computer, then get open task manager go to performance and screenshot that for me? and the processes

y844kst Well no because it wasn't letting my pc start up anymore haha, it got to the log in screen thingy which is where it stays/freezes. I've since managed to remove vanguard and my pc is back to normal so I guess I'll just have to wait, sucks that I had bought a few skins and the pass before the update hit tho xD

I really want to help you resolve your issue, so I've done a little digging and came up with a possible solution.

Step 1: Navigate to "System Properties settings" through Control Panel.

          1. Click System and Security in Control Panel and tap on System in "System and Security” window.

          1. In next System window, click the Advanced system settings option in the left pane to open System Properties dialog.

            choose advanced system settings

Step 2: Change Performance settings for foreground apps.

          1. Click on Advanced tab in System Properties dialog, and click Settings under Performance.

choose to change system performance settings

          2. In pop-up Performance Options dialog, click Advanced tab again, and check Programs to "Adjust for best performance of Programs".

          adjust best performance for programs

          1. Click Apply and OK to finish.

Usually this option is set by default, so generally you don't need to change it and your Windows has been optimized to prefer apps.

Or you could open up and reinstall Vanguard, and it should start the process. then follow this video

          Hope I helped you!

          Regards,
          y844kst

y844kst I already tried this and to no avail I'm afraid, actually reinstalled vanguard 4 times.
The "adjust for best performance of programs" thingy was already checked by default.

Also tried turning off my anti virus which didn't make much of a difference either, it did stop freezing on the windows log in screen (or maybe that was just luck, dunno) but after a while it would still freeze the pc if vanguard was still active.

At this point I'm starting to wonder if vanguard doesn't like my hardware or something.

can you send me a report from dxdiag?

just search it and open then save all information. then upload as a file to your reply.

y844kst I can't, the site gives me an error "Uploading files of this type is not allowed."
Could just copy paste the whole thing in a private msg though
