In CSGO There are a lot of counter moves against AWP such as crouch peeking in corner ( using crouch just at edge of corner so your body will be lowered when enemy awper shoots ). but in Valorant, general movement speed is slower than CSGO, AND crouch movement speed is much slower than CSGO, AND body height of crouch is a lot higher than CSGO. so you can't use crouch to avoid body shot of Operator.(due to slow movement and higher body position with crouch). these make Operator Boss weapon.

That's why each agent has utilities. You have walls, smokes, mollies, bombs, and even the ability to teleport. Your options for countering an AWPer in Valorant are limited to your imagination when using utility. Don't forget Valorant is not CSGO - there's more than just smokes and mollies.

CS:GO is CS:GO, and Valorant is Valorant. As simple as that.
You already have enough to be able to do the bunny hop in the game, So I consider that there are already many CS:GO "mechanics".

Sergio in which sentence he said that he wants it to be like CS? he just said that compared to CS Operator is much more OP and in my oppinion he is absolutely right the operator itself make it alot like CS so actually that should be more against this weapon.
HybridMeister Unlike CS where everyone is able to buy smoke and blend grenades in Valorant there are Agents without any hiding function and in my oppinion there shouldnt be a weapon in this game that 1 hits on bodyhit!

Kaztrom Exactly. I think what's supposed to make the OP balanced, is the huge hit to your economy. They just haven't got that completely worked out yet. It's not uncommon to see three Ops in a team.

Worse than balance though, is that it just feels like shit to play against an OP because you either die in a crappy way or you get into a position where the Op is at a disadvantage which results in an unsatisfying kill imo.

I agree Operator is OP, it shoudn't one tap you in the body (a 145 hit would be a good thing). Because the fact that it can instant-kill you in the body AND the head make it a weapon that requires less skill than others (you have a MUCH bigger hit box with it) especially in a game where everyone wielding an Operator is camping corners and wait for enemies to peek.

I'm sure before there is reasons why they released the beta first, i'm sure one of their purpose was to improve the game and try to balance it. There is sure thing an advantage and a disadvantage to it. The advantage is you get a one shot hit and you can camp, the disadvantage is the weapon cost is high, you need to camp and wait, you need to make sure if your team works great. I rarely see that 1v5 using an operator weapon will put you in an advantage, it depends on your skill, aim and mostly ping. There's also people that have unstable ping, that i think make the shot from the operator is unregistered for some reason. That's in my opinion, correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks!

Operator is OP because it body shots, and has nothing really to counter it except abilities, like Sage's wall or smokes/flashes from various characters. But even then, is that really a counter if you just like, not walk through the smoke, or step to the side into cover after a flash? Operator should just be removed, period.

It costs half of your maximum amount of money... you needs to take cover 1-2 seconds between your shots... if you don't hit your shot, you're dead... that's not OP at all, it's a big part of the game.
Valorant is meant to be competitive. You need to find tactics, counters for every kind of situation including to avoid walking into a scoped Operator

If they were to nerf OP I feel they should just reduce the amount of vision you get when aiming down sights so you cant see around as easy so that you actually have to play with it more tactically, basically the fov while aiming down sights

there is such a huge difference in operators in this game, for instance, raze seems so OP her bomb kills people instantly then breaks into smaller parts which does huge dmg if not killing them, then there is her special bot that instantly kills someone if it gets close enough. On the other hand, you have cypher who has invisible traps people can still see? when people actually walk into his traps they get like 5 seconds to destroy it still, so why give it invisibility and let people see it plus when someone walks into it 5 seconds to destroy it? this is just 2 examples of the huge difference in operators I feel need a buff and nerf.
