High Ping

So, the last 2 days I've been having bad ping spikes. Talking 100-200 consistent, spiking to 400-1,100. It's literally only in Valorant, as my Discord ping when I'm in call with my Fiance is perfectly fine, along with all my other games. (I.E, I did a 5 stack OW group, didn't lag ONCE the entire time.) I only ever have Discord and the game I'm playing up. I'm on my associated Region Server (NA). I dunno what the issue really is.

Vextriss do you buy chance live in the midwest, and are possibly connected to the chicago server? If so my friends have a similar problem.

I don’t have a problem with ping rather connectivity which seems counter productive of me to say. My ping is always stable at 50 or lower, however I still get lag when I play. I know this not to be my pc because my frames don’t drop when this occurs, nor does my ping rise. I’m not to sure what causes this rise in ping rather than the usual speal people give. Hope someone can help you!

You could always try to use a VPN, i've heard it drops some pings with 30-50.

Same. After the update, my ping is too high and cannot play. Tried VPN, doesn't work at all.

Last 4-5 days I've gone from solid 30-45 ping to 140+ every time no matter what. All other games are fine and speedtests confirm my normal ping. Not sure what to do D: 140 is unplayable. North Florida
