What's up with the maps today?

I've played around 10 matches today and 7 of them were on Bind... The fact that I hate that map aside, did Riot do something to their map rotation? Alter the "weight" of maps? Was it because I, for some reason, have barely ever played on Bind this far?

I've asked fellow palyers, and a few of them said the same thing: 90% of their matches was on Bind. I've got 2 matches on Split, 1 on Ascent (my first match of the day, around 1 PM) , none on Haven. One of my teammates said that Ascent is no longer included in featured maps (whatever that is supposed to mean), and that Haven had a bug at site C so Riot pulled it from rotation to fix it (fair enough).

Still though, what is happening with the maps? I've had at least 4 or 5 matches on Bind yesterday, too, but today, it's just insane. Are the other maps being bug-fixed and is Bind the only map where no bug is currently known? Are the maps being reworked, is Riot testing a new map system, or what is going on? Can somebody explain it to me? I've searched on the net, but found no info, not on Valorant's official Twitter or Facebook-page anyways.

GombaPorkolt2 You'll have to consider that you're part of an unlucky collective. With millions of players, there are bound to be some who face an unlucky map rotation. Imagine if millions of people rolled a four-sided die dozens of times - I assure you thousands of them would probably land the same number(s) consecutively.

Moreover, Riot does sometimes tweak rotation in favor of a specific map. An example of this is Ascent; when Ascent (and Valorant) was released, Riot admitted that Ascent had higher odds within the map rotation so players could experience the "new" map more. I can't say for sure if they tweak rotation odds otherwise.

I played all 5 of my ranking matches on Haven, the map I liked the least. And I still feel like its a little overrepresented in my maps.
I think RIot shoulld keep a small history and match you in lobbies of different maps. Even if it costs a couple of seconds more of queue time.

We only got Bind and Ascent for the last 2 days. It's a little bit weird.
