I was not present on my pc when the choosing character screen was on. I didn't choose a character and come to find out I get an hour suspension from the game. Why? I agree I was making people wait 1 minute. However I don't think I should be suspended for an hour. That's just stupid. Just make it auto pick an agent or something. I think like a 5 minute ban is fine, not an hour like wtf. Thanks to that suspension it allowed me to spend part of my valuable hour on a complaint about a trash thing in the game.

I agree. This game seems not to tolerate busy people, to play it, you have to forget the real world and focus on the game!

    I dont understand your Problem. When you have a bad Internet on this Place, dont play. Simply.
    When you only have a DC, you can reconnect, nothing happen. Talking about "not under my Control" is absolutly stupid.

    So, you can tell - Oh, I made an accident, but it wasn't my fault, it was the weather that caused it. If there is 20cm of snow you don't drive.

    If you were punished, it was because you had been away long enough and the other players can't help that you don't care that you want to play with a bad connection anyway.

    I understand the need to penalize players who intentionally leave games. However, I feel it is unfair to penalize players who legitimately lose connection to the game. I have lost connection to the game a couple of times and got penalized for it. Yea its not hard to wait for the hour penalty but its still really annoying, especially when I am trying to play with friends.

      You have no way to tell if it was a rage quit or connection issue etc. Like someone said earlier. You can re-connect back to the game and you will be fine. You don't or wait way too long then you get the penalty. If it seems to happen every now and then, then maybe you shouldn't be playing until you fix your connection. Or accept the punishment.

        people have to leave for less than 5 minutes and are getting 1 hour suspensions like internet going down or literally going to the toilet the ban shouldn't even go higher than 20 minutes especially when its unrated when ranked comes out it would be more understandable

        Sergio nothing was mentions of the real world he said his game crashed or his internet went down both of them are out of his control

          I don't understand why I have to be punished with staying in a 5v4 because my team mate disconnected. I either stay until 13 rounds are over or I leave and get punished with a penalty. Either backfill the disconnect or give us the option to leave.

          The penalty system is absurd! Got a power outage in spike rush champ select..got an hour ban. So stupid!!

          Games are only 20-45 minutes. If you are unable to play for 20-40 minutes uninterrupted maybe don't queue in the first place? Maybe don't play a game that requires your constant focus and time commitment if you are unable to do so.

          As for being penalized for not selecting character, to be fair, if the queue is going to be several minutes they need to add a match accept button when a match is found like most other games of this type. No penalty for missing it.
          That way if someone gets up to go to the toilet or grab some tea, because they figure its gonna be a seveal minute wait, they aren't penalized if match is found right as they leave the room.

          As for people being penalized for power outages, internet outages or computer crashes, etc. The game doesn't know if you crashed legitimately or you are rage quitting. Take the penalty and move on.
          One thing to consider is that this game is free to play. Nothing stops you from creating an alternative account and playing on that in the interim as far as I know.

            Darkmario66 While I agree that quit-outs due to BSOD's or connection errors should not be punished, quitting ANY MATCH or AFKing for any reason (for prolonged periods, e.g. a whole round) SHOULD be punished by this 60-minute ban. It's so annoying, no matter if it's unrated or spike rush, when players on either team AFK or quit. If you start a match, play through it. Being AFk for some time is understandble (bathroom, grabbing a bite, etc.) but AFKers for more than 2 rounds are, sadly, common.
